Wilson Volunteers envisions an active Wilson County, TN, community that “gives back”
and enrichment for those volunteers that serve and help others in need. The mission for Wilson
Volunteers is to connect active retirees and other volunteers in Wilson County, TN with people,
causes and organizations who seek a helping hand. Wilson Volunteers will provide a platform that
connects nonprofits, churches, state agencies and other community partners with volunteers, who
can help them fulfill their agencies mission. Partner agencies must agree to the partner agreement
and adhere to the guidelines laid out therein. Furthermore, Wilson Volunteers gives volunteers a
platform to find volunteer opportunities and needs in their community. The volunteer management
system being used allows volunteers to search for opportunities that match their skill set,
availability, and interests.
